High Incidence of animal tissue abnormal condition in Oral Leukplakia: A Retrospective Study

Abstract
“Oral leukoplakia” alludes to white keratotic plaques having excluded alternative glorious lesions and etiologic factors except smoking. thanks to the potential of malignant transformation of this animal tissue lesion, the aim of the current case-series was to work out the clinical and histological malignant neoplasm options of this lesion. The study was conducted at the oral drugs department at the dental school, Kerman. Demographic, clinical and histopathologic characteristics of diagnostic assay tested oral leukoplakia cases were collected from the documented records from 1999 to 2017 and registered in pre-designed charts. Finally, out of the forty seven patients, the consistency rate between the clinical and histological identification of this lesion was eighty five.1%. The incidence of animal tissue abnormal condition was forty eight.9% (38.3% mild, 8.5% moderate and a pair of.1% severe) whereas fifty three.2% of the lesions were non-homogenous and sixty six of the patients were smokers. Inasmuch as abnormal condition was reported  within the some 1/2 the cases, right identification of leukoplakia ought to be done by the tooth doctor to forestall malignant transformation. correct understanding, recognising, identification and differentiating this lesion are necessary for correct treatment.
