The factors affecting
the demographic climate in Russia are considered. It has been established that
for countries of the world the birth rate depends on GDP per capita, and for
Russia the dependence of this indicator on the poverty level is less
pronounced. It was found that during the reporting period, the birthrate first
fell, then grew, and then begins to fall again. The authors conclude that this
process is significantly influenced by motivation at the expense of maternity
capital.
